Problem Statement with Present Status : Excessive dust (>40 lakhs) on the shop floor was negatively impacting product quality, process reliability, and customer satisfaction. Dust accumulation during sensitive processes (e.g., camera installation and soldering) caused defects, rework, and increased maintenance costs. The existing dust control measures (small air shower) were insufficient and ineffective. Present Status - Dust levels recorded over 40 lakhs (extremely high). Impact on quality – defects during soldering, reduced reliability of camera installations. Existing small air shower ineffective. Dust accumulation visible during key processes. No effective dust monitoring or preventive cleaning system.

50% reduction in dust levels: A significant improvement in air quality and cleanliness by taking proactive measures (Please refer below image as result) Tunnel air shower (L-shaped) installation: Effective in removing dust and other particles from personnel and equipment on movement from floor. Slipper-cleaning machine installation: Helps to prevent dust and dirt from entering the facility. Duct cleaning: Duct cleaning schedule has been changed from annually to monthly. Continuously monitor dust levels: Daily monitoring of dust levels to ensure they remain within acceptable limits. Maintain equipment: Regularly maintain the L-shaped air shower and slipper-cleaning machine to ensure optimal performance. Employee training: Educate employees on the importance of dust control and proper use of equipment
