Kaizen Description	Improved Defect Detection Accuracy in AOI by Switching from Image Matching to OCVbin.
Before Situation	•AOI was using Image Matching for character/text/component verification. •Image Matching was less reliable for detecting slight shifts, missing markings, or incorrect component values. •Resulted in false negatives or missed defects, especially in cases of faded or misaligned markings.
After Situation	•Switched to OCV (Optical Character Verification) in AOI system. •OCV reads and verifies actual alphanumeric characters on components instead of just comparing shapes. •Now AOI can accurately detect wrong values, missing markings, and mislabeled components.
