SIM Tray Inventory Control Through PPC Order Alignment |

In the Smartphone Ageing process, the SIM tray is used during packaging (PKG) after the handset is loaded. SIM Assembly kits were issued based on separate PPC orders. Due to this process, SIM trays were sometimes misplaced on the line, resulting in inventory discrepancies. In some cases, additional MRNs had to be generated to balance inventory records, leading to extra effort and stock inaccuracies. | The PPC team started issuing SIM tray orders directly along with the Packaging (PKG) order. This aligned the material requirement with the actual usage point and improved material traceability. As a result, SIM tray misplacement was eliminated, inventory accuracy improved, and unnecessary MRNs were avoided.
