In the earlier setup, the IQxStream 4G tester was the only equipment used for performing radio frequency (RF) testing on feature phones. The testing capability was limited to this single tester, as the 5G tester could not be used due to incompatibility of tools and configuration files. All test setups and files were aligned with the 4G environment, which restricted testing flexibility. As a result, the testing team was completely dependent on the availability of the 4G tester. This often caused delays in testing whenever the equipment was occupied or under maintenance, leading to reduced efficiency and extended validation timelines. | After implementing the required tool and configuration updates with support from the LitePoint team, the IQxStream 5G tester is now fully compatible with feature phone RF testing. The modified setup allows both 4G and 5G testers to be used for validation, offering greater flexibility and improved resource utilization. The new configuration has been successfully tested and verified, showing stable performance and error-free operation. This enhancement eliminates the dependency on a single tester, speeds up the testing process, and ensures continuous availability of equipment.
