Before Implementation During bulk mobile production, devices occasionally got held or stopped on the line due to: Bypassing certain production stages Failing at specific checkpoints Missing test or process data To resolve such cases, engineers needed to check: QSR (Quality System Record) Tool data logs IMEI-based tracking history However, most technicians were not familiar with these tracking tools and processes. As a result: They were unable to diagnose issues when a device got stuck Engineers had to step in frequently, slowing down production Trouble-shooting time increased, causing delays and bottlenecks in the line | After Implementation To address this knowledge gap and improve workflow efficiency, structured training sessions were introduced for technicians. Key Actions Taken Conducted detailed training on QSR usage Technicians learned how to check device history, failure logs, and process flow. Training on IMEI Tracking Mechanisms They were taught how to locate and interpret production traceability through IMEI. Introduction to Tool Data Interpretation Technicians can now read tool results, understand fail points, and identify bypassed stages. Hands-on practice sessions Real production scenarios were used to ensure technicians could apply the knowledge independently. Results Technicians can now track device history without waiting for engineers. Issue resolution is faster, reducing production holds. The production line runs smoother with fewer stoppages. Engineers are free to focus on more critical tasks instead of routine troubleshooting. | 11/2025 | ||
